Richard “Rico” Presha’s never before published or exhibited black and white film images capture life on New York City sidewalks, front stoops, street corners and in its parks and subways during the 1960s - 1980s.

These photos will be exhibited at Leimert Park Village’s Hot And Cool Cafe, 4331 Degnan Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90008. 

In those pre-digital, pre-iPhone days, New York City represented a cornucopia of image possibilities for the visually curious and inspired, especially street photographers like Rico.

On Sunday, March 29, come and participate in the Leimert Park Art Walk, meet the artist, have a cup of coffee, and take a visual walk through the Big Apple “back in the day.”

I've been watching this market for many years and I am so amazed to see it where it is now.  Did you see the house on 6th Ave that sold for $990k?!! Wow.  

What is in store for the next few months with regards to pricing?  

Despite the record sales, I have seen quite a few homes sell under the list price--more so now than last year.  And I have personally had a few appraisals come in short this year and last year.  Are we taking a turn towards leveling off or dipping a bit?  Hmmm...
